THE SECURITY RESPONSE TEAM ACADEMY (SRT-301)

ACADEMY OVERVIEW

The intensive 12-day employee (NOV 13th - NOV 24th, 11-day open enrollment (NOV 14th - NOV 24th) SRT Agent Academy (SRT-301) has been customized to present mission-critical hard and soft/ human skills for Security Response Team (SRT) agents embedded with client organizations. During this academy, participants will complete specially modified courses from our core-skills training program, including SRT Handgun (HGN-202), Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TEC-201), Defensive Tactics & Physical Response (DTC-201), and Active Threat Response for SRT Agents (ATR-202), as well as expanded training on reasonable and necessary use of force, restraints, less-lethal weapons (taser, OC, impact), report writing, tactical communications, vehicle operations, de-escalation and crisis intervention, SRT policies and procedures, case studies, and legal considerations.

PURPOSE

The Security Response Team Academy focuses on skills and concepts which translate directly to security and first responder operations. Students will develop competence and confidence in their skills through a blended, building-block approach. Ultimately, this program is designed to equip successful students for the central mission of every true security professional.

DEFENSIVE TACTICS AND PHYSICAL RESPONSE (DTC-202)

  • 24-instructor contact hours

SRT HANDGUN (HGN-202)

  • 16-instructor contact hours

ACTIVE THREAT RESPONSE FOR THE SECURITY RESPONSE AGENT (ATR-202)

  • 24-instructor contact hours

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Topics of instruction include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Legal and ethical considerations
  • NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Certified by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians)
  • Active shooter threat response
  • Stop the killing, Stop the dying
  • De-escalation through non-lethal tools and defensive tactics
  • Proper utilization of non-lethal tools (OC Spray and Electronic Control Device) and tactics
  • Defensive tactics escort/control positions and takedowns
  • Knife defense
  • Weapon retention drills
  • Combative shooting techniques
  • Single hand shooting and corrective action drills
  • Vehicle counter ambush
  • Vehicle ballistics lab
  • Proper handcuffing techniques
  • Report writing
  • Other related subject matter

REGISTRATION

Tuition for this course is $8,459.50. To register for a single module, or to view alternate delivery dates, please see our events catalogue for current courses.

· Your seat will not be reserved until tuition is received. Tuition is refundable up to 30 days prior to training. Due to the sensitive nature of this program all applications are subject to review and vetting. Should any concerns arise in reference to your application you will be contacted by our training management team.

· Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and personal insurance (if desired). Accepted applicants will be notified as early as possible to allow ample time for arrangements and reservations.

· Allied Universal Executive Protection and Intelligence Services EMPLOYEES approved to attend this training may do so free of charge.
