Drones for Executive Protection

This comprehensive 40-hour course equips Executive Protection Agents with the skills required to effectively plan and execute missions utilizing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), while ensuring safety and full compliance with operational standards. As technology continues to evolve, Executive Protection Agents must leverage emerging tools to enhance their tactics, techniques, and procedures, enabling them to stay “left of bang.”

The integration of drones into executive protection operations offers a wide range of applications, including elevating an agent’s advance procedures, Residential Security Team site patrols, event security overwatch, and more.

Purpose:

The curriculum prepares participants for mission readiness for obtaining the Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 Certificate, a requirement for operational capability.

Who Should Attend:

This training program is open to both public and private sector professionals, including federal, state, and local government; military; veteran; public safety (police, fire, EMS); and private security personnel. Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services encourages qualified individuals of all backgrounds to apply.

Learning Objectives:

· Establishing responsibilities for drone and remote pilots across pre-mission, active, and post-mission phases

· Airspace navigation using sectional charts

· Coordination and best practices when working alongside First Responders

· Case studies and analysis focusing on adherence to federal, state, and local laws

· Hands-on flight experience, encompassing basic maneuvers and advanced operational scenarios

· Planning and preparation for Pre-Advance, Advance, and Operational Phases involving Unmanned Aircraft Systems

· Integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems in hasty, deliberate, and full spectrum mission phases

· Incorporating surveillance principles for various environments and critical route planning.

Training Hours:

The course includes thirty-two (32) hours of classroom instruction complemented by eight (8) hours of practical flight training, during which agents navigate obstacle courses and participate in realistic scenarios tailored to Executive Protection operations.

Registration:

  • Open-Enrollment Registration: Tuition is $1,500.00. Please note that your seat will not be reserved until tuition is received. Tuition is refundable up to 30 days prior to training. Open-enrollment participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and personal insurance (if desired).
