Outline

This course focuses on critical defensive handgun techniques, tactics, and core competencies for armed agents working within contemporary corporate and UHNW environments. Participants will receive dynamic hands-on coaching and individualized instruction from WSCJTC Master Firearms Instructor and U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame member Gary Drake.

PURPOSE

This intensive 1-day course focuses on core-competencies essential for effective performance as an armed protection agent. Training and practical exercises emphasize speed, accuracy, technique, and tactics to equip executive protection professionals with critical skills necessary to ensure the safety and security of principals, bystanders, and agents themselves in high-stress active-threat scenarios.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Allied Universal® is dedicated to the improvement and professionalization of the executive protection industry. This course is open to private security, military, and law enforcement professionals. Allied Universal champions diversity in the EP industry and encourages qualified individuals of all backgrounds to apply. Academy applicants will be evaluated according to a mix of criteria prior to course admission:

-Ability to pass a criminal background check
-Demonstrably high degree of personal ethics and professionalism

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

o Semi-automatic pistol
o Minimum three (3) magazines
o 500 rounds ammunition
o Sturdy gun belt
o Belt-mounted IWB or OWB Kydex pistol holster (NOTE: SERPA, shoulder, and cross-draw holsters are prohibited.)
o Belt-mounted magazine pouch
o Soft body armor (Optional but recommended.)
o Cover garment
o Eye protection
o Ear protection
o Firearm cleaning kit
o Water, snacks, lunch
o Hat
o Sunscreen

CERTIFICATES

Successful participants will be awarded a CERTIFICATE OF QUALIFICATION for this program. Each certificate includes a three-tier ranking designation based upon individual performance: Proficient, Highly Proficient, or Exceptionally Proficient. Individuals who fail to meet the standards of this training program will not be certified by the Academy.

TRAINING HOURS

This is an intensive 1-day, 8-hour course. Training typically runs from 08:00 to 17:00 PST.

TUITION

-Standard registration: $415 USD
-Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and personal insurance (if desired). Accepted applicants will be notified as early as possible to allow ample time for arrangements and reservations.
